Moments in time are lost

Lost are my memories

Memories for which I have fought

Fought hard, we all did, but suddenly

Suddenly I pause and wonder

Wonder if with my memories I had lost my wit

Wit and will were the only things getting me by

By life and the hard times

Times get worse

Worse with each passing day

Day begins change to night

Naught bleeds into day, man

Man as a race may never get an escape

Escape, I scream,

Scream till my throat is raw

Raw fear courses through as I try

Try to leave this dream
