The days come and go

I put on a smile for show

Slipping by unnoticed

My insides growing cold

Numbing and alone

Unable to shed a tear

Pills by my bedside

Helping me with my days

Til a bad day wins

Shaking and afraid

I take one after another

Ten in quick succession

To insure my sleep is forever

As my body gives in

Breath slowing to a still

A question lingers

Would anyone notice a change

Or was my life to unnoticeable
