Write a story about a toy that your main character has kept from childhood for a specific reason.
You could make it a description of the toy or a memory, or the toy could be a smaller part of the story.
The Flower
She kept the plastic flower
Her mother gave her
Not made up of only plastic and a metal stand
But something dangerous
Lurking beneath the surface
A poison for whoever sniffed
Undetected by tests
And whoever sees the flower
She could kill whoever
And get away with it
Without having to see them die
It was an amazing gift
So she kept it
She would need it for what’s to come
