I hate being happy

Because i know I’ll be sad again soon

I hate laughing

Because i know how quickly it turns to tears

I hate being funny

Because i knownit can be taken the wrong way

I hate having energy

Because i know soon i will be tired

I hate being happy

Because never in my life has it stayed that way

I’m always sad in a matter of days

I hate being happy

Because i know it will end

And good things have to end

I know

But its not fair

That sadness steals the show

I hate laughing

Because it turns to tears

Everytime

Because laughter comes

At awkward times

That leads to crying

While hiding to avoid the conflict

I hate being happy

because it isn’t the same

Being sad may be miserable

But at least it will never change
