How freedom

Comes from pain

The cross

Is naught but torture,

Yet gave

Me all to gain

It's the scars

On hands so perfect

And the

Wound in His side

That keep me

Mindful of my actions

And shameful

Of my pride

It's the grace

In eyes so tender

That reaches

Out for me

A mercy

Undeserved that

Reminds me
