that was the second I fell in love.

Your eyes looking at me,

Mars on your mind, and on mine,

so what could I be afraid of?

I’d travel to space,

to stare at the stars, the moon,

so that when I came back,

I could recite my feelings to you.

Because they shine like

your eyes locked on mine.

I’d code a machine,

just to send you a message.

I’d let it say what I couldn’t,

so maybe you would hear,

that I love you more than

anything I could ever fear.

I’d tackle a football player,

so we could stand side by side.

Because I love to see your smile

and the way it lights up in your eyes.

I’d do anything just to see you,

to hug you, to smile with you.

I’d do anything because I’m in love,

and with you, that’s not something

I’ll ever- ever be ashamed of.
