Look Up
I look up at him
And his eyes shine so brightly
No longer from love
But from the pain of victims
From the feeling when he kills
I look up at him
At his once loving, kind face
And his hair, it gleams
Not from sweat and devotion
But from tears and a sword’s blade
I look up at him
His once caring and kind eyes
They stare back at me
Hard, cold, emotionless eyes
Caused from his downfall
I look up at him
He crosses, getting closer
Leaning down, he sighs
He whispered that he loves me
Now he only cries for us
I look up at him
What happened to us
How I miss those days
The perfect relationship
We dreamed of going so far
I look up at him
As the blade gets closer still
The flashbacks pounding
I miss the old him I knew
Now there’s only emptiness
I look up at him
He drives the knife in my chest
He’s getting blurry
How I hate him I miss him
There’s no love as I look up
