Darts In The Dark.
Words look the same in the dark,
And with black blindfolding me,
I can’t find the light switch,
To light up the room and see the deceit.
Words sounds the same when hands,
Cover my eardrums, so I can’t understand,
The trembling pitches of voices,
The crumbling facade.
Words stand on their feet, alive,
But their truths stand in the heavens,
A barrier of worlds won’t let me reach,
Forcing me to remain grounded to earth.
With closed lids, I throw a dart,
Hoping to score a bullseye,
To win the prize of packaged trust,
With no adorned lies inside.
