POEM STARTER
The Revelation
Write a poem with a structured rhyme scheme, using this as the title.
Abode.
You were my precious abode,
With kind eyes, a small smile strode,
Into my heart, never cold,
I always thought I found gold.
And you seemed to enjoy me,
My life, stories, company,
No barrier lied between,
Our hearts’ grasp— it was serene.
Until it was revealed one day,
That you yearned to leave me dismay,
When you threw me to the sidewalk,
And since then, we have yet to talk.
Out of the house for them, you kicked me—
I felt like an irksome centipede,
There, you quietly took off the veil;
I learned our friendship fell down to hell.
You vanished, with no goodbye,
Was left with my luggage and ‘why?’s,
I was ousted out my cozy home,
Now, I fend alone, left to freely roam.

Hi guys✨ I hope you’ve had a good day!
Sorry if this sucks; I feel like my writings have been sucking recently in general, and that’s not good because I just got back from writers block 😭
If you have any critiques on my writing or anything, please tell me. I feel like my writing could be worked on or not as similar to all of my other writings. Be so honest.
And I feel like this _barely_ fits the prompt, but I’m trying to post everyday again.
