All is a Lie
The vase has broken
The glass is shattered
A bat in my hand
But it’s no match for the dagger you hold
In your hand, poised above my heart
Point down, handle above
As I lie still on the ground
Any wrong move, & I’m dead
Trust is broken
Friendship lost
Whatever existed
Is now long gone
The support & belief I had in you
It almost feels like it never existed
Actually; no, it feels worse
Like you have no belief in me
Like everything was a lie & I just couldn’t see
