You only live once that used to make me scared . But honestly now , I couldn’t be more prepared .

This existence has been filled with resistance , just trying to make it by on the edge of a ledge .

I’m sick of making a pledge that I won’t go to the extreme to play out one of my dreams with a letter being all that’s left to scream .

My voice trembles at the core like crashing of rocks hitting the shore but I’m still unsure if I should speak cause then I’ll be weak .

Can’t you see my hope slacking as my very facade is cracking ?

I wonder if they could tell it was a lie every time I told them I didn’t want to die cause I never wanted to pry .

It’s hard to understand if you haven’t dealt with a memory that impales or if you haven’t been triggered by even the sight of a belt.

If only the world showed me a little more mercy .
