A Girl’s Best friend
Some may say that humans copy other’s behaviorisms. Now, if this is true, wouldn’t you think someone would copy the mannerisms of those which they hand out with most, their friends, their best friends. Why am I saying this? You’ll see..
There once was this girl named Eleanor. She was gorgeous, anyone and everyone could and would agree. She had golden and curly, medium-length hair. Eleanor’s eyes were glittering in the light, hazel and perfect. Her jewelry was even stunning, she wore this one diamond necklace everywhere she went and it shined. People in the streets stared, she was the definition of beauty, according society, that is. *Everyone is beautiful*
Eleanor’s friends invited her out for a girl’s night. Of course she came, she loves her friends more than anything!
However, this did mean getting hit on all night. She would accept it to hang out with her friends. She giggled every time someone asked for her number, she flashed the promise ring that was on her finger every single time. Eleanor had turned them down politely and explained she was already in a relationship.
Everything was going well, at least until a seeming drunken man came up to dear Eleanor. He was persistent with his flirting, even after she said she was taken.
“Oh, all pretty girls a taken now! You must be lying because you don’t think I am worthy of you. I’ll let you know, I am the best person you will ever come across!” The man slurred his words and stumbled as he walked closer.
“Please stop,” Eleanor spoke firmly and calmly.
“Where is your ‘partner’ anyways? Why would he leave you alone if he knows you are so hot?” The man persisted.
“Leave me alone!” Eleanor was getting annoyed, she was just trying to have a good night.
That was when the man got a little too close. Eleanor pushed him back, he fell back from the sudden force. She then kicked him in his face.
Now, why did I did I mention people copy their best friend’s behavior? Oh, simply because a girls best friend is a diamond. And diamonds are beautiful, but they are also strong.
*Ummm, y’all, I think I just got a burst of energy cuz ten minutes ago I was groggy doing homework, but I wrote this so fast. Have a wonderful day!*
