"Did we really just see a _demon_?!" Mira shouted.

"Yeah, we destroyed Gwi-Ma! They should be gone with him! Right?" Zoey agreed.

The third Huntr/x member opened her mouth to reply, but something flew out of the shadows and tackled her off the roof. Mira and Zoey raced to the edge.

"Rumi!" they called.

Whoever it was flipped them over quickly so the purple-haired leader wouldn't land first. Rumi scrambled away as soon as they hit the ground. They slowly got to their feet and held their hand out. Their fingers were clawed.

"Sorry about that, I just... didn't know how else to get you to hear me out," they laughed nervously.

Rumi narrowed her eyes and got herself up. They awkwardly returned their hand to their side.

"We destroyed Gwi-Ma," Rumi said. "What are you doing here?"

They held their hands up in surrender at the sword now pointed at them. "I know what it looks like, but I'm not here for any souls. I'm just here to tell you that, well, Gwi-Ma's back."

"What?" Rumi lowered the sword a little.

The demon backed away two steps when Mira and Zoey leapt to the ground. "He was never really destroyed, just temporarily gone. He was made from our insecurities, our shame. As long as there were a few demons left, he was able to rise again."

"What makes you think we'd help you?" Mira demanded.

"I don't expect you to help me," they replied. "Or trust me. But if you want to stop Gwi-Ma for real, you need to go into the demon world and I'm your only in and out."

"How does another demon want him destroyed?" Zoey whispered to the other two under her breath.

"I want him destroyed because he took my brother away from me. Corrupted him. Corrupted me. All I want is to avenge Jinu," they explained resolutely.

Rumi gasped and her sword vanished. "Wait, Jinu? You're his sister? What's your name?"

They straightened their back. "Siah. How did you know him?"

Mira rolled her eyes, exchanged a glance with Zoey, and pulled Rumi to the side. They each placed one hand on their friend's shoulders.

"Rumi, for the love of lyrics, don't go along with this," Zoey pleaded.

The Huntr/x leader re-approached Siah.

"Oh no," Mira sighed.

"We'll consider it," Rumi told the girl. "I'll send you our answer with Derpy in a few days."

"Rumi..." Mira groaned.

Siah tilted her head in confusion. "Who's Derpy?"

Rumi smiled. "You'll know him when you see him."
