This may not seem like an achievement to most

But I sure hope some people read this post

Because I want to talk about it

I am fourteen

Going to a gala

That is meant for adults

I will be the only kid there

I am nervous and scared

But oh so utterly excited

The person is charge

Personally said I should come

because its a fundraiser where I volunteer

Its star themed

And there is star gazing

I can’t wait for the night

Its in 2 days

And I cannot stop thinking about it

We picked out a dress

And tights and hair clips

And i get to wear them

And feel pretty

It may not be an achievement to some

But it means a lot

That i was invited
