This is a little thank you,

To all those who read my work.

A lil flash to the past,

There was this girl,

Who wrote,

But hid it.

She was embarrassed,

And frankly,

Was ashamed of her work.

But eventually she found her community,

Her confidence,

Her voice.

And for some reason people liked it?

It felt so real yet so magical.

Like a fantasy she’d made up.

So thank you,

To everyone who made that girl smile,

Just by reading her work.
