If only this world had shown me

A little more mercy

I wouldn’t be scared to show who I am

To wear what I want to wear

To able to tell my secrets

To not have crazy thoughts at 10 years old

I could be able to come out of my shell

To not be afraid

To not hide behind a mask

Just to be free

The world tried to give me mercy

But it was to late

When I am already on the edge

Of life

Wanting to cry

And jump

But I hold it in

I disguise it

For the sake of my friends

Family

And everyone I know
