but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'

Nothing Hurts More
“Atleast I’m smarter than you, cute slowpoke”
You said with a smug smile
As you saw me get a C
On that math test you took yesterday
Which you failed so badly on
Not a single answer right
Didn’t even spell his name correctly
“I’m sorry you feel that way”
You said, surprised and angered
When I got mad at you
For making me lose my shot with a girl
A girl who I loved, who I wanted to be with
By joking to her about how I “like to pleasure myself”
Even though I don’t “do that”
Nor have I ever thought of baby gorillas or old Natzis while doing “that”
“It’s not a big deal
Look, everyone’s related to each other
Meaning you must have other grandpas, right?
So, you’re just overreacting”
You said, smiling at me
Almost looking like you wanted to laugh at me
While I was bawling on the floor
Upset over how I got last place in that science fair
Because I wasn’t even finished
That meant a lot to me and my family
Because if I would have gotten first place
I would have won enough money
Enough to get Grandpa that heart surgery
“Oh, come on, just be stronger”
You said as you shook your head
Having a weird-looking smile on your face
While you were also struggling to lift like me
Lifting your backpack up
Your barely loaded backpack up
Even though I have been hurt before
From some other things
Like getting bruised
Having bullies
Losing people I’ve known
Seeing clouds cover up skies
While rain pulls at my eyes
After my dog ran away
He’s lost now
But nothing
Nothing hurts more
Than my “friend”
With his little words
With his little lies
“Hey! I am your friend!
You’re lucky I’m such a benevolent, amazing friend to you!
Let alone just for me to let myself be seen near you!”
You shouted angrily
As you shove me against my locker
As I cry quiety to myself
