Create a conversation that takes place within a human body.
It can be between cells, organs, or anything real or imagined within the body.

“Time to wake up!” Left Brain said.
“No! Let us sleep in longer!” Right Brain exclaimed.
“We gotta get moving if we want a head start today!”
“You mean, _you_ want a head start for today.”
“Hey, I wasn’t the one who wanted to stay up half past midnight, now, did I?”
“Let me sleep in!”
“No!”
“What’s with all the yelling? I’m _tired_….” Heart groaned.
“Heart. You get me, right? We have to get up! It’s good to get up and move!” Left Brain claimed.
“It’s also good for the body to sleep.” Heart replied. “Sleep actually helps the brain in a lot of ways. It repairs itself, consolidates memories, and it—just rewires the brain. It’s helpful.”
“What Heart said.” Lungs replied.
“And who let you in the chat, witty wheezer?” Left Brain wondered.
“Will you stop being a pain in the butt? For once in your life?” Right Brain asked.
“I don’t have a butt! It’s all the way below me…and anyway, why are you all ganging up on me? I thought we were friends!”
“We are friends!” Everyone shouted.
“You guys aren’t doing a good job with showing it.”
“Look Left Brain, we understand the whining and all—“ Heart began.
“Whining?!” Left Brain interrupted. Heart continued.
“But it’s not like we’re sleeping in until 12:00. We just don’t want to be groggy and wait until we’re fully awake. That’s all. So will you please let us get a little bit more sleep? Please? At least for…I don’t know, ten minutes?”
“Fine. But only ten minutes.”
Everyone agreed and the body stayed silent for a couple seconds which then turned into a minute…but it didn’t last long.
“I can’t sleep.” Heart responded.
“Yeah. Yeah, me neither.” Lungs added.
“Are you kidding me? Is Left Brain the cause of this?!” Right Brain inquired.
“No, of course not!” Left Brain argued. “T-think of this as ‘let’s get up early today’!” Left Brain laughed nervously as everyone groaned.
