The Monster Of Mayoar Strait

Most don’t know,

The stories of the sailors,

Who travelled across the Mayoar Strait,

Because most don’t survive.

But I did.

And whether it be fortunate or not -

You can decide -

I will tell you my story.

Beneath the waves,

Where you cannot see the mainlands,

There lurks a monster,

The Monster of Mayoar Strait.

Most you ask will say it is mere legend,

And will give you some foolish explanation,

...

Promised Gold

Roaring waves come crashing down,

Falling to the old, worn boards.

Throwing limbs across the deck,

Towards the storm and promised gold.

Brave the tides. Brave the sea.

Treasure lies in unknown waters.

Against all fate. Against all hope.

Promise me, you’ll get the gold.

Monsters slash, the krakens bite,

Foes bear arms, in hopes of light.

The rain comes down, the thunder roars,

But all that matter...

Ghost Ships

The sea was dark and the ships were being thrown around. There was a thunderstorm lightning was striking about every minute. The color of the lightning changed with each flash. The ship was shaking so much a couple of people were almost thrown off the edge.

The waves got stronger and the rain got heavier. There were ships that would dissapear and then reapper. At first it looked like the ships w...

The One Piece

The adventure of the century;

The One Piece

My father first went on this journey to fight for his life, he was a pirate.

The citizens of his city didn’t admire him, they rebelled against him, which resulted in many deaths, hangings and beheadings.

As he was on the ship, he came across something that wasn’t on his map, called the All Blue. He thought something had to be there, since it was hidden ...

Just An Idea

(This is just an idea of a story I have. Please don’t use it)

Ok this young adult girl who has supernatural powers. She lost her parents to the ruthless king who eliminates anyone with magical powers. She and her brother are full blooded so they are more powerful than the kids. She has a super mind (mind reading, mind control, advanced intelligence) and her brother has space bending (time manipul...

The Captain Of Quintess

I’ve been captured… I thought as I sat, gagged, blindfolded and tied, hand and foot, in the small rowboat, squished between two of the five bulky sailors crammed into the small boat. We were headed towards the Quintess, ship of the cruelest and most mysterious pirate known to man. No-one has ever seen them, nor their ship, and lived to tell the tale. It’s even said that they use magic to conceal t...

The Mismatched Trio Board A Boat

Sebs jaw dragged along the gangplank as the trio walked up the steep slope towards the cruise ships entry way.

He had never been on a boat this large, he doubted he had ever been on anything this large ever.

He looked down to the water below and felt his vision spin and laughed rocking back nearly crashing into Bryony whose knuckles were white on the handles.

Harri was behind her dragging a ...

Barnacle

What a privilege it is to be

A barnacle out at sea

With my home on the hull of a boat

On an ocean adventure I float

I’ve seen places and so many things

Of which other creatures only dream

On a ship tossed and turned by the waves

I’m a part of the crew, true and brave

I’ve seen a close call with a whale

Who damaged the boat with her tail

A plank-walking pirate passed by

On his way down he ...

The Beginning

(Non-literal interpretation of Genesis 1)

In the waters of the ocean was the Holy Spirit. There she witnessed space become night and day, the realms become sky and land, plants and animals envelop the world. And there she wondered why.

She wandered the seas of the world billions of years ago, the scars of molten magma yet to heal, the boiling flame yet to dim in the sky, and yet to grow brighter...

Wake

In the wake of the vessel leaving port, and in so doing leaving everything Fayd had ever known behind, he swore he saw something.

It was as if a smooth, diminutive hand reached up from the foam and waved farewell to the vessel. Since he was the only one who saw it, he would confirm that very night and be ridiculed for it, he liked to think it was waving at him.

Throughout his time at sea aboar...
