Riu’s Traveling Woes

One place one day, gone the next,

Only staying for a breath,

My heart sighs, full of content,

That is how things should have went.

Yet up in the clouds, where the light appears,

Can not hold all my tears,

For all that is good and all that is great

Has been taken away from me by fate.

A god’s tale, don’t you see?

It is never of a man who is free.

Stuck in one place, only to see a face,

Do I Wonder To Much?

Do I wonder to much?

There so much I don’t understand,

So meny things I cannot touch,

Or hold within my hand

I wonder about friendships

About lover and their lost

I wonder about airships

And oceans tempest tost

I wonder about stars

And the space in between

I wonder about the sky

And the air currents unseen

I wonder about my ancestors

And what they believed

I wonder about the natives ...

Wanderlust

In the heart of an adventurer, a flame burns bright,

A soul with wanderlust, craving endless flight.

Never content to stay in one place for long,

Yearning to explore, where the world's wonders throng.

Through mountains and valleys, across vast seas,

This restless spirit roams, forever seeking peace.

With each new horizon, a thrill in the air,

Uncharted territories, calling them to dare.

ļæ¼ Wanderlust

She dances freely with the winds of change,

With wanderlust and courage in her stride,

A gypsy soul, untamed and wild,

With the vast horizon as her guide.

She runs where roaring rivers rush and flow,

Where the stars in skies are littered and strewn,

A wanderer embracing the world with open arms,

Chasing the Golden Sun and the Silver Moon.

Her feet, they tread on paths unknown,

On roads less...

Writer’s Hikikomori

Wherever you are

If I could reach you

I would only ask

If you wonder for love

Or wander for lust,

Do you seek the world out to find home,

Or to find home in yourself.

Either way-

I can only watch you

With envy?

Maybe

But hope

Hope is what I feel

Because I know atleast I wonder

With love

About you

Your journey

For what you see,

I want to hear,

And for what you live,

Well-Sussed Wanderlust

It was always a joke, but everyone knows, the best jokes are rooted in truth.

She would never stay put, she was too wanderlust, they mocked her even in youth.

She never stayed down, was precocious and bold, too stubborn ever to quit,

The bullies, they tried, but eventually stopped, when she just couldn’t be bothered with it.

She played four different sports, captained six different teams, brok...

Rootless

I was born without roots

I have never found soil that fed me

I long to tumble endlessly

And let the wind determine my destiny....

Wanderlust

A dreamer feels at home on the road

New experiences and strange faces replace the familiar

Feeling alive

A nomad seeks refuge in a life of adventure...

Don’t Wait For The World

I am not

interested

in a world

where

women must say

yes

because

they are

too afriad of

what will happen

if they

say no.

I am

not

interested in

a world that thinks

by putting one

woman on

top

we have

created equality.

Equality

cannot

simply be achieved

with

one

woman.

Men fill up space

and

no man

seems

to worry

that another man in the field

means

he’ll lose

his spot.

Women must also

The Traveler

The familiar road of gravel

Crunches beneath my boots as I travel

The wind at my back, the sun in my face

I could not imagine any better place

The idea of a ā€œhomeā€ is not one I know

To stay is to settle, to move is to grow

Life soon becomes stagnant in a singular place

So in wandering the world, I discover my grace

Sometimes it gets tiring to wander alone

But no one wants to join me in the place...
