Drone Unit Number 37

I first saw it last month, flying low over the grocery store parking lot. I hadn’t thought much about it, figuring it was just someone’s new toy.

It didn’t feel like it was following me exactly. It’d appear as a tiny black dot far off, zipping around. I’d randomly see it, once or twice a week. Then that changed to once a day.

I’d open my front door, and there it was. Hovering over my garden. It’s...

Drone

It’s following me

Can’t you see

It’s in the air

Take cover beware

Who’s up there

Just look and stare

Constantly watching

Never stopping...

Stalker

I’m sorry

Don’t worry

You must be

So lonely

Arms wide open

I’d give you all of me

If you’d follow me

Back to the place

We last met

At the school

I’d hear your voice

Echoing in these moments

But seeing your drone

Follow me back home

I don’t think I want to go

Because you’re not the you

That I used to know...

Twisted

As i walk through the rocky path i see the same drone again, this is like the 5th time now. Since i came out the house that damn drone followed me, i tried to ignore it, but it just got agitating and disturbing. I also had a overwhelming feeling that someone was secretly watching me but just couldn't put my finger on what it was. My thoughts grew cloudy as i continued strolling through the neigh...

What Should I Do?

I started noticing it last week.

One night, when I was closing my window blinds, a drone was flying just outside my house on the street.

The next night, it was just hovering above the sidewalk.

I had wondered if it was a neighbour’s drone, and whether they were spying on their neighbours.

The evening after, the drone was hovering over our driveway.

I felt creeped out, but I shut the window bl...

The Drone

At first, Logan thought it was coincidence. A black drone—sleek, silent—hovering outside his apartment window as he brushed his teeth. Then again, above the cafĂ© while he drank his coffee. Even at the gas station two towns over. Same blinking red light. Same low hum, like a whisper meant for only him.

He tried acting casual. No sudden moves. No staring too long. But the drone always kept a polite ...

Dragons!

There were five champion dragons, but only one victor. The flying ones, by nature, traditionally had the heaviest bidders. If someone could smartly engineer a set of wings, it was likely they could engineer the deadliest fire breathing mechanics. In other words, the highest win rate of the match.

There was one year an inventor decided to enter the competition with an ice dragon, but really it end...

The Drone

I wake up in the morning feeling fresh and energized, eat my breakfast warmly and head out. As I get in my car I see a drone, but I think nothing of it, probably one of the neighbors kid’s drones. I get to my office and after a few hours I get a cup of water that’s right next to a big window where we see all the city buildings and traffic. As I slowly drank my water I saw the drone again causing m...

Why Didn’t You Tell Us?

If there’s one thing that’s gonna be my downfall, it’s this.

I’ve managed to keep it secret so far.

But this thing has been following be all day.

I saw it at the office, so I hid in the toilet.

I saw it on the train, so I pulled my scary over my face.

I saw it on the bus, so I engaged in conversation with an old lady - about cats too.

Every, I see it.

A little buzzing drone.

With a party h...
