OK, OK… So I know this poem sucks ass. But you got to admit, I did a pretty bad ass job of using eye rhyme! Lol. 😜

Through all the awful places that I’ve been,

And all the dark and evil things I’ve seen,

Through heartache's maze that kept me on the move,

I clung to dreams of someday finding love.

I've always longed for a son or daughter,

Imagined a home filled with joy and laughter, ...

The more you know

The higher your brow

Beneath your smirk, so rouge

Is an ego ready to gouge

Every skeptic, every one

Who takes a controverting tone

You brand as a demon

Sour face, lips tasting lemon

I pity you, your sneer abounds

You cannot teach you only wound...

I stepped upon a root,

It nearly broke my foot.

‘Twas all that I did find

As we pushed against the wind.

Through trees the sound of laughter,

Yet, threatened times of slaughter:

The reason we must move,

To protect our nascent love.

Time is a broken clock: a fractured shard,
