Staying up all night, going out

sounds of laughter all around

the mics' echoes of adhan disperse

until the cold hits you worse

it's time to eat - your stomach so empty

and then you're full, you've eaten a plenty

you look up and notice for the first time

these lights are as beautiful as chime

why are people taking them down?

it is not its time now

there's still so much more

I stepped outside the house leaving for first day of school today. Spotting another girl - around my age - drawing on a piece of paper whilst waiting for the bus, "why did I not think of doing that first" I think.
