She said the last of her worries sank with the boat.

A fragile, brainless misconception that life would move on. After the mess that Aries had been through, she wanted to hold on to life just a little longer.

Her skin prominent and clean like the wine glass she dined from, her rose red lipstick stained to the side.

The boat spun in a daze for sometime, sending the sun to weep of exhaustion.

Etch A Life

Rose

You were the song I use to sing.

A note I used to listen to.

The drums I played.

The melody I made up in my head.

The broken pencil that sketched an art.

The art that meant every single word.

A word I couldn't couldn't write.

All a scene trying to find the difference from right...WRONG.

WRONG was the only possibility.

The only word in which direction I could fathom or etch.

The wrong direction...

Unfinished Plan

Under the microscope, salt and water is all I see.

On me, they were stronger than a hurricane's sea.

CO2 to the earth I breathe, but H2O to the heart that was never free.

Zero dollars, is how much I'm worth to you, a something you can not get used to.

Used to the idea of a life worth living to me.

A diamond meant to define, to forge a bind.

I built this project we call life, and you don't see me...

A Water Bottle.

Water that bellows a reflection like a crystal.

Though through the looking glass only waves like jello.

The light that reflects to give it, a glow—but ripped from it's shadow.

Several cracks and ripples, but yet beyond window light break is jello whose flavor made it taste like cake.

A triple sundae with a cold brisk beer, "Howdy I'm afraid, oh dear!"

Even the nicest sprinkles can't bring bac...

Second Chance

I prayed this was one of my smaller mistakes, but the tinge of regret flickered in his eyes. I had put that darkness there.

An expression once filled with warm brown eyes, now swallowed by space. I'm used to finding myself lost in them, now I'm trying to catch my breath.

My eyes swell up with tears and I watch as they envelope down my face and ripple into the sink. With every drop the taste of s...

Origami Piece

Birds circled overhead. One was blue, the other was red. It wasn't as simple as a bluejay or a cardinal. This one had rigid edges and its wing had been snipped off the previous morning. Both birds have the inability to fly away. Only then could a torch with a flame big enough to burn down a village truly kill the Mockingbird....

The Retro Days

Rose

A 1980 PacMan coin operated arcade machine, fine dining next to a mini sized pizza joint. The overhead stove lighting illuminating over the retro machine like it's a museum's prized possession, with _glory _written in bold letters. An art piece of that magnitude would cost a fortune. Your wallet cries out while you pull your newly acquired debit card from it's sleeve. The crisp reflection catches ...

Translucent Reflection

When I look, a reflection succeeds. It sees the past, present, and future in green. A bit of a common color if you ask me.

Like seaweed to water is leaves to a branch. Or like the dress to Tinkerbell, crafted hand in hand.

A childhood story that lights up like magic, but every story wishes to be seen first untold.

No more questions, nothing can be seen with a keen eye.

My green reads in staine...

A Willow Tree

Twisted beneath the heel of the blade was his sinister laugh radiating off the perfect shred the blade carried. His reflection stained on my mind, the six inch steel into the root of her abdomen.

_'The last thing I have.' _Those words slipping, giving him just enough power on the tip of his tongue. The same taste of a hollowed tree trunk, full of winters meal and swiped by natures prey.

The Day My Reflection Died

Rose

Her eyes drip with blue like God kissed her mother's too.

Her beauty that she shared hidden by the complexion's shared.

Only hidden behind the bangs from a parties simple, 'I dare.'

No more party favors, no more sunlight left to share.

She was just a dupe, so tired of stares...

Your twin is here she walks the stair,

Peak performance from fake circles, haha 'I care.'

They know what it feels like...
