POEM STARTER
Write a romance poem that is really very unromantic.
Try to think of the normal elements of romantic poems and reverse them!
Unfinished Plan
Under the microscope, salt and water is all I see.
On me, they were stronger than a hurricane's sea.
CO2 to the earth I breathe, but H2O to the heart that was never free.
Zero dollars, is how much I'm worth to you, a something you can not get used to.
Used to the idea of a life worth living to me.
A diamond meant to define, to forge a bind.
I built this project we call life, and you don't see me in your half of the ride.
A battle with rules, not walls, to protect what's "mine."
I draw my hands in a battle of quote, instead of a sword to your spine.
Victory sheds tears as I sail in my boat,
Instead of joy from those three words that made me choke.
This was a game, and I was the blueprint
I was a design, stolen, and you couldn't finish it.
