I awake to another day,
No noise just my dreadful silence
Another sun climbs the sky,
Blue above, heavy with unshed storms.
Another night spent restless,
Tracing memories I canāt quite mourn.
In silence, I sit with the weightā
Of chapters closed, but never erased.
Some I wish had lingered longer,
Real or imagined, too tangled to face.
I shove the wanting down,
That pull to feel your body near....
