Diluted Growth

Irie

1 min read

A story or so goes of two brothers bleeding separate colors

Subjugated they got faded to escape what they hated

Notioned for brothers to share in commotion of emotions

Kane and able sitting at a table

Dreaming of fables and cables

Ignorant blind minds looking for a blind ryme wasting fine time

Older they get colder they solder leather skin and grow akin to the crushing weight that all d...

Dysfunctional Moralities

Irie

1 min read

Subjugated to elated judgement,

Spoken waves of emotion unto masses to create commotion.

A pseudo cause for grevous means,

Boys barely green made mean.

Sent In motion of a bias morality,

How could it be?

You see

He protects his family across sea,

Killing and proclaiming his deeds.

But all the same so does he,

So who’s the real enemy?

A question drentched in grey,

Who’s to say what you’ll be.

Memory breathes thieves.

Mothers grieve leave without glee

They flee.

Unjustly done upon thee

No morality.

He ran from fans infamous he faced us

Fought caught took a knee.

he cracked whacked a man upon a stand

A bias pious man to reprimand the dammed.

“Guilty shall you plea Mr C?”

“Take a knee bored ford your rymes are free!”

“57 counts!”

He pouts.

Reality made castles upon hills crumbl...

One long Night

Irie

1 min read

One long night

New to love, the smell of your hat had me in a trance.

Walking those cold streets. Meeting in front of the keys night after night to be with you just one more time, a once nostalgic memory.

Making footprints in the snow, comparing our feet.

Cracking yourself open with stories of your life, good and bad.

Dreaming of not only our life but a routine.

Those little moments that made ...

Bridges

Irie

1 min read

What a bittersweet respite

such a song that buries itself in my scars

This stranger in the street who once would lay life down for me

A poison toxicity bled into me from their loyalty

It is what it is

“Life goes on” Ive been proven to time and time again

The bridges I burn scorn me

And I alone will carry this burden

Because I alone caused it...

Bittersweet memories.

Irie

1 min read

Something on my mind.

Something new, Not worth a care.

Yet I still see it in your eyes.

Soon at your demise,

Poison runs in your veins.

Bleeding from your heart.

If only I was there.

A crime set off a fuse that has never been lit.

Something vile,

Something of injustice.

Yet I’m the criminal.

Like a breeze amidst the heat you were gone.

And now all I’m left,

Are Bittersweet memories....

Cage in a hall

Irie

1 min read

Under the table I sit

Two figures screaming

Another pleading for an end

All I feel is hunger and fear

Brought into a home I don’t belong

I digress

Passing moments of calm before the storm

Screens lit up as a child plays

An older woman sits meticulously

Knitting her thread

Stomps come from above

And another round begins

The child grabs my scruff

And brings me to safety

A woman scre...

Beauty beyond belief

Almost stale

Every place I’ve been

But no one left to tell

Once it was a dream

A fantasy

But now all too real

And no more family

From east to west

North to south

I’ve run out of space

Just stories of my mouth

Soon I will be unable to move

Left to drag myself alone

My freedom was my enlightenment

And my undoing...

Indulgence

Irie

1 min read

A melancholy memory

Too familiar to recall

Substance sometimes to remember

And sometimes to forget

A feeling creeping up my spine

An issue that needs to be fixed

Poisoning my own soul

Unable to express

Locked in snare of my own design

When will it end

For now I sulk in my head

To proud to show...

The Silent Breeze

Irie

1 min read

The bones of figures around us

Swaying lightly in the breeze

Yellow takes place of green

Setting up for a new beginning

The home collecting marrow

to survive once again

Brown to grey in the blink of an eye

Nostalgic mistakes creeping in the walls

Like eyes of the coyotes

Prancing for a long awaited meal

Soon comes the end for many

To usher a new start for more...
