I first thought, that the produce was not fresh and going to rot

It seems that when I chopped onions, tears there were not

My partner brought my red roses, and they hadn’t any smell

I blew my tired nose, and used spray and burned like hell

We don’t understand how this happened, crazy it seems

I can’t seem to smell the dinner, and desert of mint creams

I have been poked, and prodded with tubes...

We learn history in our children school

Reading and writing at that time was cool

No computers or charging chords then

We carried our lunch and books and a pen

The bright orange/yellow school bus drove us

Meeting our chatting friends was fun that bus

Teachers were our friends and helped us learn

We went to high school and graduated not burn

The quote was read with tears in eyes that gliste...

As the last, of the fire lanterns were quietly lit

Silent prayers are spoken, as the moon was hit

This was the three day of sorrow, that we do pray

Some have waited, for this memorial special day

The beautiful koi swimming, in the river of life

Enjoying the peace, of the night with his wife

The shared stories, passed down from them to us

There was hero’s that served, while riding on a bus...

May the silence, of your Mothers womb keep

You grow and nourish, at birth the Gran’s weep

You see all the lights, and oohs and aah sound

Your quiet peaceful world, is awake and around

Warmth wrapped up, in flannel love and being kind

The pet dog wags, his furry tail at us he has dined

Grampa Steve’s clock, ticks and tocks with my breath

No kids running in the house, or TV is off not a death

The newspaper said, that the estate sale was today at that place

Up out of bed, and a quick bowl of oats, splashing water on my face

My best friend rang the bell, just as I was ready to lock up and leave

I am in search of certain things, like antiques and bracelets on my sleeve

We zoomed off in our air car, as we swooped around looking for that yard

Driving this homemade tinkered hobby, traffic ...

The rapid questions began, once we got in the car

Are we going to the store, will we go near or far

All the other kids are at the beach, taking a swim

We have to get in the hot car, it’s always me and him

Can we stop for summer ice cream, or even a treat

It’s really baking in June, we can’t stand all the heat

Can I sit in the front seat, to see over the dashboard

It’s uncomfortable in the back...

My floppy ears, heard the family car coming home today

It seems its not food, but a baby is moving in they say

All this fuss in the house, from the ladies ‘oh a first girl’

We can dress her up, in satan pink with her hair in curl

I ask myself, that it sounds like a doll that I see on TV

Maybe that is what, they are whispering about to me

All was peaceful, after my dogs breakfast and a nap

She gave him her time, and affection I guess I’m a bore

It’s my birthday and I am dreaming of a piece of cake

My partner makes me a yellow one he likes to bake

Loaded with chocolate frosting and only a candle

Only one slice and that’s all that I can handle

Well a visit to my Doctor tells me about my fate

No more cake and frosting before it’s too late

I know I am sweet and all but no more sugar for me

So now next year there will be fruit in a bowl...

The pirates had taught him well and talk as he did speak

Do you eat with that potty mouth he was asked by a friend

I pick my feathers every day just like I pick and clean my end

The large door of the cage was always left open and no harm

Close the cage you are heating the outdoors do you live in a barn...
