The woman sat in her bed, wearing pajamas and a hospital gown. She was alone in the room, with a television. The screen was filled with static, but the woman didn't seem to notice. She was focused on the screen.

Suddenly, the static on the screen began to clear. A face appeared on the screen, a face that the woman recognized. It was the face of the man who had committed her to the hospital.

"Hello," the man said. "I'm glad you could join me."

The woman's eyes widened in fear. "What do you want?" she asked.

"I want to help you," the man said. "I know what you're going through. I've been there myself."

"You don't know what I'm going through," the woman said. "You can't possibly understand."

"I do understand," the man said. "I know what it's like to be trapped in your own mind. I know what it's like to see things that aren't there. I know what it's like to be afraid."

The woman stared at the man, her eyes filled with doubt. "How can you know?" she asked.

"Because I'm you," the man said. "I'm the other side of you. I'm the part of you that you've been trying to hide."

The woman shook her head. "No," she said. "That's not possible."

"It is possible," the man said. "And it's time for you to accept it."

The woman closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, the man was gone. The static on the screen was back.

The woman turned off the television and got out of bed. She stood up and stood there for a moment, looking at the blank screen. She knew that what she had seen was real. She knew that the man was real. And she knew that she had to face him.

She took a deep breath and walked out of the room. She knew that the man was waiting for her. And she knew that she was ready for him.
