As the last, of the fire lanterns were quietly lit

Silent prayers are spoken, as the moon was hit

This was the three day of sorrow, that we do pray

Some have waited, for this memorial special day

The beautiful koi swimming, in the river of life

Enjoying the peace, of the night with his wife

The shared stories, passed down from them to us

There was hero’s that served, while riding on a bus
