My infatuation with the jungle must of started with Tarzan then

I watched endless hours of the scene with Jane way back when

I always had a mind that twisted like those vines in the tree wood

I developed a skill with ropes and chains learning what I could

As I grew up and finished high school I was working in a rope store

Helping the owners twist and knot their business I like that’s for sure

I went to college and joined the Army reserves for a fresh new start

This was a change for me but I quickly adapted and gave my heart

We got called up to travel to the dense jungle to find the enemy now

My full gear strapped to my body and I was ready to act and how

The history of my past jungle childlike life was helping me get around

The endless twisting and knoting of green and brown vines to the ground

They were actively trying to capture the first humans to be in their space

The grabbing and pulling of the vines was not quick enough for my place

We traveled through the jungle making a fast path and stopping the one for me

It was hauled out and tied up with the same vines that it had used to get free
