POEM STARTER

“Clouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes,

Use this stanza as either part of, or inspiration for a poem.

Little Lies

Clouds cover the skies,

Rain pulls at your eyes,

But nothing hurts as much

As little words turned lies.

The trust is a token

So easily broken,

When simple words

Are just falsehoods spoken.

A bee is so small,

A giraffe is so tall,

But lives are ruined from

Deceptions that are small.

Like a beach in the rain,

Or a rocky terrain,

After you've been deceived,

You fake smile through the pain.
