“Bea, your drinking way too much! You have work tomorrow morning…” said Andy.

Bea was on her second drink it was a mojito, one of her favorites. Andy wasn’t drinking because he was going to give a ride home to Bea after the staff party. They came out after work to celebrate on their big success of having the top rating on their new show ,” Dating vacation”,.

On the show, singles meet each other at the airport and spend one week together in a foreign country of the contestants choosing. It is a blind date so they don’t know who they will expect. There are three girls and three guys. They have one week to get to know each other and see if they are a match. There are five countries to choose from: Spain, Italy, Australia, Iceland and England. The contestants goal is to find someone they can find a connection with throughout the one week. Once the week is over they will stay in an airbnb together and two new contestants would join the group at random.

The goal is to see if singles can form a deep connection while being abroad.

This idea came to Bea after she met her first love while studying abroad for an internship back in England. Now she wants to give others the opportunity to try it out for themselves.

“Cheers to working on this project together guys!!” Bea said cheerfully but she was a light weight so she started feeling tipsy while drinking her last order of the night. Andy clinked her glass and the rest of the staff laughed and cheered. It was a fun night but it was time to go home.

Before heading home she goes to the back of the restaurant to make a quick phone call but it goes straight to voicemail.

“ Hey Steve, I’m on my way home. I’m getting a ride from Andy since he offered to drive me. He didn’t drink don’t worry. I’ll be back soon. Love you”.

While heading back she bumps into this lady. She was wearing a feather hat. “ Excuse me dear,”. She said. “I’m sorry” said Bea. The lady smiles and tells her,” I’m sorry to hear your boyfriend didn’t pick up the phone”. Bea got surprised. “ h..how did you know? The woman said calmly,” I’m sorry if I overstepped but I heard your conversation earlier let me guess, your coworker is driving you home”.

Bea now confused what to say next slowly says,” … yes..” The lady still smiling says,” you don’t seem happy, is this what you really want?. Then Bea now furious closes her eyes to hide away what she wants to say next and embarrassed but once she opens them the lady is gone.

All she left was a note on the ground. Bea picks up the note. It said, “love potion quote”. With the words,” your favorite drink, a touch from someone you know, a tear and then you will know”.

Bea takes the note with her and rushes out the door. To not make Andy wait any longer. Andy was waiting back inside. “ there you are” he said. “ I was waiting for you”. Bea laughs and says, “ you will never imagine what just happened”. Andy looks at her and the note she is holding. Asks her,” where did you get that note?” He looks concerned and asks her to show it to him. “ it’s a love potion?” Bea laughs. “ hahaha no!! It’s just a quote, it’s not real don’t worry”. Andy looks at the note and back at Bea,” who gave this to you?” Bea shrugs. “ I don’t know, some lady, I don’t even know her name”.

Bea looks at Andy. “ she said I don’t look happy and is this what I want?” Andy looks at her. “ what does she mean?”. Bea shrugs,” I don’t know?” Andy said, “ and this potion will make you happy”. Bea says,” it’s like a fortune cookie, it’s only words, I’ll prove it to you”. She orders a mojito, drinks it. Andy looks at her,” wait what if it’s actually real”. Bea laughs. “ come on, Andy! that’s only in movies”. She then reads the note. “ a touch from someone you know”. Andy touches her hand to gesture to stop reading the note. Bea continues reading and a tear. Bea forces a tear but nothing comes out. Andy says,” come on, let’s get you home it’s been a long day”. Bea sighs. “Yea your right, let’s just go”. Andy takes her to his car, opens the door for her and she goes inside. Andy starts the car and they head towards Bea’s home. Andy looks at her, “ you had a long night, I’m sure Steve is waiting for you”. Bea looks down on the floor of the car and says, “ yea right, I can’t even get a hold of him”. Bea looks sad. Andy notices,” don’t worry, he probably fell asleep”. Bea looks to the side and wipes a tear from her eyes. “ what if I’m not actually happy and the lady is actually right”. Andy tries to comfort her and cheer her up,” don’t worry so much” and pats her on the shoulder. She smiles and they reach Bea’s home. She says bye to Andy and grabs her keys from her purse to open the door. When she goes inside no one is home. Not Steve, and the lights are turned off. Then she hears a knock at the door and says,” Steve your home!” Opens it and she finds herself back at the airport.

“ We are departing for flight to London, please have your boarding passes ready at the gate” said the flight attendant.
