Mean Girl Drama

My name is Hannah. I’m 13 and I go to Westchester Middle School. I just started seventh grade and it’s already off to a bad start. All the cool kids hate me and I don’t have many friends. Besides, I’m kind of a nerd.

Anyway, want me to tell you what happened? Okay, here goes... remember how I said the popular kids kind of hate me? Yeah, well today at lunch, they walked up to me. They caused a ginormous scene! They called me a geek and a nerd and ugly in front of everyone. What next? They pushed my tray into my shirt. That’s not all. They got the milk and poured it over my head, then continued to pick me up and throw me head-first into a full garbage can.

They walked away calling me “Milk Head” and everyone laughed and cackled at me.

I only have a few friends. Sam, Ellie, and Lizz. They tried to comfort me about it, but it’s no help. The next day, I decided to stand up to them. I can’t let this keep happening, as it’ll only get worse.

The next day at lunch, I walked up to them this time. Let me introduce you to the mean girls. The meanest one who put me in the trash can has blonde hair and her name is Brittany. The others are just her followers-Ashley, Jessica, Tiffany, and Courtney.

The first thing that happened when I walked up was this-“Back for more, dork?” Yes, it was Brittany.

“You know what? I’m not going to let you start the year ruling my life. I am going to end this now because I know that the only reason you’re doing this to me is because you have nothing else to do in your little mean girl pathetic lives. I know I may be a nerd, but be nice to nerds, because they could be your boss one day. You know what I would do if I was your boss? I would give you the worst jobs possible to do if you never stop bullying me. So either you end this now, or you might suffer long term from this.”

Okay, yes, I may have been a bit harsh, but they stayed away from me, and I gained some new friends from it! I just want to say, if you’re being bullied, don’t let those first few days of it control you. It’ll only get worse if you don’t stand up for what’s right.
