I stared out the window of the coach,my nonchalant stare giving clear discomfort to passers by. I didn’t understand why. It was merely a facial expression,I wasn’t even there mentally. I was,in my head,finally resting in the so-called fantasy land I was being taken too.

The myths and legends made it all sound so peculiar,impossible even,considering how many different stories people would tell.

A land of candy,plushies,or prophecies awaited me. I,personally,didn’t want either of them to be my destination. Maybe a land of books or pure nature would satisfy.

I turned away and slept,slept until I finally heard the slam of brakes. We had arrived. My driver was smiling as he looked out the window,marvelling at the view. I wanted to see it fully,not out of a window,so I avoided eye contact with anything other than the floor. I slowly stood up and grabbed my bag,most members of the coach did the same.

“Have fun!” The driver called out to the passengers as they went off into the land. “Thank you…” I said timidly,placing some coins on his desk. He pushed them away. “What are you doing? Don’t leave your money!” “A tip,for you,for getting us here.” I said emotionless also exiting the coach.

The driver smiled softly to himself,or me,I couldn’t tell. “Thank you.” He said with a real happy tone in his voice. “Have fun!” I simply smiled back and watched as the coach left,leaving me to look at my surroundings.

It was a world of magic. Witches and wizards alike! This,this world really did satisfy after all!
