Rule 2: Take the information you get from those people and take it back to the original friend. Now everyone feels like they’ve gotten in on secret information.

Rule 3: Want an evening out with lots of cheap drinks? Invite lots of people out to a bar. Go first and get the first pitcher of beer. By the time everyone else has taken a turn buying a round, you’re trashed and spent little money.
