The Head, The Rope And The Identity
Sprinting through the dark unforgiving forest, winding coils of branches and gray fog surrounds me as my feet pound against the damp uneven ground with each step. I’m suddenly yanked back, I yelp out in surprise.
It was just a far out tree branch, but damn and peice of my coat was ripped off with it.
It’s not long before I begin running again, forgetting about the brief moment. I need to get this information to him… otherwise who knows what he’ll do. He’s a ruthless man. No time to dwell on this all I need to do is to get this damned info to my guy.
I’ve been running for quite a while before finally halting to a stop near a small cavern lowly lit with a warm light, welcoming me in.
I enter the small cavern and scan the room, seeing my guy and sitting across from him. Panting I tell him “I have info on her” he replies “Tell me then, no time to waste im a busy man”. I sigh and fidget with my fingers “well.. you see the.. head that was found a couple weeks ago wasn’t her mothers” I look up at him, fearing the worst. “What?” he contorts “She isn’t who she says she is, Sir I’ve been informed that is was her who cut the rope that Andy was climbing”.
“That little..” “it wasn’t Andy who killed the woman, it was her. She cut Andy’s rope and killed the woman using the motive of revenge to further back what she said. To say her own skin. She then said that it was her mother to make it seem like she could never have done such a thing”.
