Welcome home,

you’re dog is unwell.

It was the new bones?

One dog is fine,

the other isn’t.

His eyes and ears are turning yellow.

“He’ll be fine”

A worried family with a sick dog.

“He’ll be fine”

All these years,

he’s been through so much.

He started slowing down throughout the day.

Mother and Father take him to the vet.

“He needs surgery,

he may or may not make it…”

His kidney was done.

It was so sudden.

Nobody could do anything to stop it all.

Surgery was done.

Mother and Father came home without a dog.

They’d acted like nothing happened.

A girl was dying inside.

So was a boy.

Nothing could’ve helped that beloved dog.

The family was torn,

and all they could do was cry.
