Course Correct
A lot of your actions
affected my life
Little moments that had big impacts
Sleeping at the dinner table
Missing school events
but only one has changed it
The train tracks altered
never to be switched back
You died
One stone carelessly tossed
throwing the river
into an entirely new direction
I can’t course correct
I’m forever like this
Unmoving and speeding
at the same time
