POEM STARTER
Confession.
Write a poem, with a set structure, which centres around the theme of confession.
To You
I’ve slept with monsters under my bed and screams in my head
The sounds of silence is foreign to me but the sea is never one to feel envy
Your eyes calmed the storm and kept the monsters at bay
The screams stopped to admire the dances we did in the dark
The silence I once never knew is now there when I’m with you
And the sea has finally learned envy me
