POEM STARTER
‘Earthquakes no longer feel so foreign to my body.’
Write a poem that begins with this line. Is it literal or metaphorical?
Natural Torments.
Earthquakes no longer,
Feel foreign to my body,
For she‘s constantly,
Shaking my entire world,
With a small flick and sweet words.
Tornados are friends,
With the grounds, grass of my brain,
When my thoughts jumble,
From the deep yearning I feel,
The desire for her embrace.
A wave of blush hits,
My whole body, tsunamis,
Could never compare,
Or flood a whole town, city,
The way she floods me with love.
Natural torments,
Are now just soothing to me,
Intimate moments,
That will repeat, repeat, play,
And I can not get enough.
