WRITING OBSTACLE

Write a short love story, where you cannot describe anything directly or in its real sense.

Metaphors, metaphors, metaphors!

Perpendicular

Graph paper left out for the students of summer school. Some jerks draw square dicks. Most just look at it, too afraid of the pressure. No one really appreciates it.

One girl struggles with her hyperbola. In her struggle, she is brave enough to approach the graph paper and ask for some help. She admits what she does not know and says she wants to learn proper math. Graph paper helps her.

Graph paper watches her work on her math day by day. Graph paper celebrates with her successes, and stays for her setbacks. Graph paper grows wide with pride, as the girl marks it up in every way. Graph paper has one friend.

The girl is getting better, but the graph paper is only running out of room. Day by day, she sees the end in sight. In every way, she knows that graph paper will soon be unnecessary. She smiles with pride.

Graph paper sees a line drawn out of its heart end. Graph paper accepts her fate. Graph paper is run ragged and left to dry.

Graph paper is in the trash.
