POEM STARTER
Mysteries of the Night
Whether something natural and beautiful like the stars, or something more sinister, write a poem that focuses on things that are most prominent at night.
The reunion.
Looking through his eyes, I turn to stone,
Lover of Medusa, I hear him groan.
Shadow that’s been following me for hours,
He looks at me whispering what could’ve been ours.
Nostalgia, guilt, fear are running through my veins,
Memories who forever in my heart, stains.
As our gazes meet, a new expression appears on his face,
And slowly disappears, between us, the space.
The closer he gets, the wider is my smile,
His lips brushes mine, feels like we re alone on our île.
His hands grazes over my chest,
As he slid his knife in my left breast.
