POEM STARTER
In a poem, write about a love triangle between three people.
Will you write from each person's perspective with unique voices, or omnisciently tell the whole story?
Who Loves Her More?
Emily White-
Hopelessly devoted to her everlasting love
One who is faithful and kind
The other wears a disguise
She walks through the town
Wearing only a gown
She keeps to herself around
Others who make her frown
All her life
She had been made to please
Everyone but her
She wished she was a cure rather than a curse…
Billy Clinton-
Oh, how he loved her
With ever fiber in his body
He cherished her to death
He would do anything for her
He would go through great lengths
Even if it was his last breath
Even if his mind went blank
Even if he had no more strength
Sure he was poor, but he still loved her
Whatever happened to this sweet, humble man?
Pray, thee tell, did he fall in a well?
Why no, he did not…
Instead he went through a time
Where he got knocked down
Something went through him
Which made him collapse to the ground
John Barlowe-
Richest man in the valley
He acts like he won the finale
He acts like he loves a girl called Emily
Is he at least a little sweet privately?
No, he’s nothing more than someone
Who hides his identity
He cares more about his obscenity
Rather than him being authentically
He goes above and beyond to keep
The girl quiet
He thought she was fat so she was put on a diet
Heck, he nearly created a mobbing riot
Gee, did he ever have some sense at all?
When Billy came around, he acted quite small
He knew what was coming as soon as he
Touched Emily
And yet, he had no brain
For he was crazed
He harmed Emily without feeling fazed
All he wanted to do was make her pay…
