Darkness chills the land

Life all but gone now

Ruins scattered about

The world broken and torn

Lone survivors scavenge

Hanging onto life

Food so scarce

Death so near

No hope in the desperation

Morals abandoned

Like life before

Fight, kill, live

See another day

So many choose to give up

Still some choose to stay

Trust is gone

No groups are formed

But light will shine again

This world destroyed

Another born

A land beyond the clouds

One of peace and harmony
