I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them get chopped down for me and you

And I think to myself

What a NOT wonderful world

I see foggy skies of gray and clouds made of smoke

The trash filled days, the brutal, ugly fights

And I think to myself

The dry lands below, severely lacking water, oh dear, oh my

Are also on the faces of the poor, unemployed people going by

I see crackheads and hobos stabbing hands, saying, “How much good shit do you have?”

They’re really saying, “I need shit from you, like, right now or I will kill you, bitch!”

I hear children whine or be numb, I watch them regress or stagnate

But atleast they’ll still learn much more than I’ll ever know

And I think to myself
