Unforgivable

Lauren was in love. Not just in love she was obsessed. To her it wasn’t obsession it was love, pure love. She had found her soul mate. The one she was going to be with together forever. She pictured herself in a pure white wedding dress, with glistening jewels to show off her body, specifically her breast. It was a v cut top with designs woven into the fabric. Her gown just touched the bottom of her pure white heels. Her tiara held her hair in place with locks dropping from the front of her bangs to frame her face.

It’s always what she imagined. The love of her life holding her hand. Only he wasn’t holding her hand he was holding the hand of his actual fiancé. A handsome man with a soft beard. Long locks of hair. Walking hand in hand with his fiancé. Lauren follows them as they walk out of the movie theater. Her souls mate betrayed her, unbeknownst to him. Rage filled her mind every time she saw them lunch, especially when she saw them kiss! A nausea filled her stomach , an ache stabbing in her stomach.

As the unbeknownst couple turn the corner, she grabs the pistol in her purse. She’s been practicing for weeks. Her nerves were resolved. She pointed her pistol at the other woman. With a loud bang the woman falls to the ground gasping for air. The man quickly kennels to catch her as he looks around to get some sense of understanding. “Jenny!” He shouts either tears in his eyes. Another bang rings in hus ears. Her body now limp. The man cries out, “ Why are you doing this! Why did you kill my Jen-“ a sudden bang and he falls on top of Jenny. Silenced.

Lauren lowers her pistol to the ground. Kicks him off of this other girl. She turns around and walks away, thinking to herself, “If he wasn’t going to love me, he wasn’t going to love anyone.”
