May the silence, of your Mothers womb keep

You grow and nourish, at birth the Gran’s weep

You see all the lights, and oohs and aah sound

Your quiet peaceful world, is awake and around

Warmth wrapped up, in flannel love and being kind

The pet dog wags, his furry tail at us he has dined

Grampa Steve’s clock, ticks and tocks with my breath

No kids running in the house, or TV is off not a death

The announcement came, from Mom and Dad today

The new baby is home, so complete silence of play

To much peace, the baby thought as sleep came

I will try to adjust to silence, and play their game
