All i wanted was to be picked

i wanted attention

i wanted to be seen

but never to be loved again

That doesn’t mean that i didn’t love you

i loved with every breath that i took

with every sight that my eyes witnessed

I loved you

but the love the love that you gave was unexplainable

you loved me so deeply

you loved me so hard

you loved me so intense

that sometimes i wonder where’s my self love

you accept every mistake that i’ve made

you wiped every tears that i’ve flowed

you talked to me with kindness

you kissed with kindness

you made me feel special

you loved me so fiercely that i burned

now you’ll be only left with ashes
