My stomach aches

Soaring far away

I stare at lovely blue eyes

Hoping she will stay

Only three words to give

That could be the end of me

Just one confesion

But will she?

My throat sputters

And my heart churns

For how hard is it

To only say three words?

My mind races

To all the posibilities

To all other phrases

I gather up strength

Scared of the unknown

For it's only three words

No need to postpone

Hands fidgeting

I look at the captor of my heart

I sputter out, "I love you"

And I watch her depart
